Pembe Köşk Addiction Treatment & Rehabilitation Center

Pembe Köşk is the first private addiction treatment and rehabilitation clinic in Northern Cyprus, specializing in drug, alcohol, smoking, gambling, and eating disorders.

Hospital's history dates back to February 2002, when Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çakıcı established Pembe Köşk with just 7 beds, marking a turning point in Cyprus by introducing structured treatment and rehabilitation programs for the first time.

 It is also the first clinic in the Middle East to implement Buprenorphine therapy for heroin addiction—a treatment previously available only in the USA, Europe, and Australia. This innovation allowed many Cypriot patients, who had once needed to travel abroad for treatment, to receive world-class care at home.

Over the past two decades, Pembe Köşk has expanded its reputation internationally. From 2002 to 2025, we have successfully treated patients not only from Cyprus and Turkey, but also from the United States, the Greek Cypriot community, and especially the United Kingdom.
